H6. Responses of Young Children to Integration of Senses from the World Around Them!
A young child’s brain is filled with interwoven feelings, actions, and thoughts; this all impacts social/emotional
development. Practical and enjoyable techniques will be covered with a description of how young children react to
sensations and examples of how they integrate responses. This workshop is for parents, teachers, and providers to
understand the wiring that is continually happening in a child’s brain. Presenter: Nancy Kaczrowski, Adjunct Faculty, Inver Hills Community College & Rasmussen College
